How To Write Facebook Ad Copy That Converts 2019 Video Summary
Hey, it’s Anthony and today I’m going to show you how to write your facebook ad copy that converts By creating better Facebook ad you will draw more attention, get more people to read that ad and most importantly get people to click on that to boost your sales. Let’s get started that will help drive more traffic to your website and increase your conversions.
- The number one goal of Facebook Ads is to grab their attention and get them to click on the link interested
Facebook Ads are just one part of your sales funnel. You only have a title (25 character limit), image, and description (90 character limit) and it is a very tiny real estate for trying to sell something.
The Goal is to grab their attention and make them interested to click because People don’t come on FB to see your ads (they rather see cat memes)
One way to do is:
- Create Facebook Ad Copy Like It’s From A Friend
You see, when we see an ad our first impulse is to skip it BUT if you make it look like it’s from a friend then they will be more likely to read it especially if it’s interesting.
What’s gonna happen is if you do it correctly read that post, they are going to feel a connection with you, and if you target dog owners then you will make them curious to see what these scooby snacks are.
It’s going to feel like it is from a person rather than a business.
- Customize Titles And For Different Ads
You are going to have different types of titles depending if it is Facebook Feed Ads, Video Feed Ads, Right column Ads, etc.
According to databox Video drives 60% more traffic compared to images and o images which makes sense since video is eye-catching.
And that’s the whole goal: to grab their attention and then make them interested
Tip: Make sure you have caption
- Determine what you want from an advertising
Writing for an email opt-in is a lot easier than writing for a conversion and the way you do that is different
- Craft an interesting title
The way you do this is by being specific, showing a benefit, being clear, and writing a curious-driving headline.
Example: Writing about a %20 Leather Shoes Free S & H is targetted towards impulse buyers whereas you will write differently if you are selling a Youtube course for $300.
- Have an eye-catching image/ video
You have 5 seconds to grab the reader’s attention with video. And even less time with images. Images - Woah what is that? Weird or unique photos that are eye-grabbing. Youtube Thumbnails I prefer video since motion is a cheat code. All you have to do is make them interested in 5 minutes.
Image → Slideshow (drop shippers)
It’s not technically copy but the reason why this is such a crucial element is because people look at images first to determine if the title and description are worth reading.
- Cater To Your Specific Reader’s Lingo
Targetting is a whole nother topic on facebook advertising. With it’s creepily amazing targetting abilities you can pinpoint your exact customers on Facebook. Certain Niches are going to have their own type of language.
And if you can use this certain type of language then you will create a connection. That’s what will compel people to click on your link if they feel some sort of connection + interested (feel like they understand me) and make it seem more trustworthy.
- Split Test Different Variations of Facebook Ad Copy
Facebook ad copy is both an art and a science. You never know what the market wants to read. You want to test: Title Video Image Description This will be the biggest bang for your buck.
- Make sure to read the ad copy rules
Last but not least read the ad copy rules. It’s so easy to get banned on Facebook nowadays because of a simple mistake that you didn’t know of (putting 5 emojis in a row → trigger your ad being flagged) When you are using FB ads you have to comply with Fb’s rule because they are really strict and when you get your account banned there’s not much you can do. Just double-check everything is good and your ad copy actually complies with the rules.
